Formula 1 in Schools

This article is a stub. Updating my personal webpage is not a priority for now; see the links above for more information on the project. In the meantime, you are welcome to check out the gallery and the about page. If you happen to be someone interviewing me, I'll be happy to tell you all about it.

The Project

Formula 1 in Schools (now STEM Racing) is an international student engineering competition built around miniature CO2-powered race cars. Teams design, manufacture, test, and race their cars, but are also judged on presentation, sponsorship, and team operations. It is meant to resemble running a small company, not just building one fast car.

I joined evolut1on in 2018 when the team was newly founded. After the other members left that year, I took over and rebuilt the team from scratch. As team lead, I scaled evolut1on from a beginner team to a real competitor and eventually a contender for the German championship. In 2022 I stepped down into a coaching role to pick up my studies in Zurich, and helped coach evolut1on into becoming the STEM Racing World Champion in 2024.
